Born and raised in Jerusalem, Amitai
Ben-Abba is a writer and activist now
based in the San Francisco Bay Area. His
nonfiction has appeared in The
Independent, Haaretz, Your Impossible
Voice, and other publications. His fiction is
forthcoming in Witness. He won the
Melody Clark Teppola Creative Writing
Prize in Fiction. Further, he was awarded
the Fellowship in Writing and Community
Engagement as an MFA candidate in
Creative Writing at Mills College.
